The Beast in Me is an American psychological thriller television series. It stars Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys and is produced by 20th Television.
Plot
Aggie Wiggs (Claire Danes) is a prize-winning author who has abandoned her life after the death of her young son. Her quiet routine changes when real estate mogul Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys) moves into the house next door. Jarvis is suspected of making his wife disappear. Aggie feels both attraction and fear, and she begins to research his dark past as material for new writing. Soon, she is caught in a dangerous mix of fascination, obsession, and suspicion. The line between truth and lies blurs, and Aggie risks not only her peace of mind but also her safety. The story becomes a game of guilt and deception that no one can escape unharmed.
