Text-based web browser
A text-based web browser is a type of web browser that only shows text from web pages and does not display most images or other graphics. On slow internet connections, these browsers are often faster than graphical browsers because they use less data. Unlike text-based browsers, graphical browsers use more features like CSS, JavaScript, and fonts. Because of this, they need more computer power.[1]
