Template:Element cell-large/doc
| This is a documentation subpage for Template:Element cell-large. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
This element cell formatting allows more data than in basic periodic tables. On the other hand, it takes more space and may exceed page width, so the reader may have to scroll horizontally.
{{element cell-large
| 1= atomic number
| 2= element name
| 3= symbol
| 4= atomic weight
| 5= state of matter (sets font color)
| 6= metal–nonmetal category name (sets background color)
| 7= occurrence (sets cell border style)
| link= sets page link for {{{2}}}, to create a link like [[Mercury (element)|mercury]]
| bg= background color (overrides {{{6}}}, could look like |bg=#aabbcc)
| border = cell border (overrides {{{7}}}; could look like: |border=1px solid purple)
| style= adds or overrides any of the style settings (do not add the "" quotes)
| title= (mouseover text, overrides title composed from 2, 6, 5, 7)
| legend = (overrides legend part of the title that was composed from 6, 5, 7)
}}
Note: parameters link=, bg= and border= will not show in the title text.
Periodic tables using large cells template are:
- {{Periodic table (18 columns, large cells)}}
- {{Periodic table (32 columns, large cells)}}
- {{Extended periodic table (by Nefedov, 54 columns, large cells)}}
- BaZnGa
