Template:Draft categories/doc

This template can be used when non-article pages like drafts and user pages have categories meant for articles. The categories will be displayed but the page will not be added to the categories. If the page is moved to mainspace then the categories will automatically work as normal but the template should be removed.

Usage

Wrap categories in this code:

}}

Sort keys and leading colons are allowed in the categories. Only use this template around a list of categories and not around a whole page or transclusion. {{Suppress categories}} can be used for that.

Tracking category

The category Category:Articles using draft categories ( 10 ) tracks pages that are using the template in the main namespace. This template should be removed from those articles.
