Tan Koon Swan (born 24 September 1940) is a Malaysian politician and businessman. He was the fifth president of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), part of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition, from November 1985 to September 1986. He was convicted in Singapore because of the Pan-Electric Industries scandal, but the judge later said the charge was wrong.[1]
