Tadeusz Różewicz (9 October 1921 – 24 April 2014) was a Polish poet, dramatist and writer. He wrote poetry from 1947 until 2008. For his work he was awarded the European Prize for Literature in 2007 and a Griffin Poetry Prize in 2012.
Różewicz was born in Radomsko near Łódź. His brothers, Janusz and Stanisław, were also writers. Janusz was executed in 1944 during World War II.
Różewicz died on 24 April 2014 in Wrocław, aged 92.[1]
