Stefania riveroi is a frog. It lives in Venezuela.[2][3][1]

Home

This frog is awake at night. People see them in craks in the ground, in caves, and near rocks. During the day, young frogs hide in bromeliad plants and bogs. Scientists found this frog in exactly one place, Monumento Natural Los Tepuyes, between 2,300 and 2,303 m (7,546 and 7,556 ft) above sea level.[2][1]

Scientists think this frog could live in Canaima National Park.[1]

Young

The female frogs carry their eggs on their backs and the eggs hatch into small froglets, not swimming tadpoles.[1]

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN and the Venezuelan Fauna Red List say this frog is in some danger of dying out. Climate change could hurt this frog because it lives in a small place. Fires, viruses, bacteria, and fungi could also hurt this frog.[1]
