A gunman opened fire at Spanaway Junior High School in Spanaway, Washington, on November 26, 1985. The attack left two people dead (15-year-old Gordon Pickett and 14-year-old Christopher Ricco).

Police identified the alleged shooter as 14-year-old Heather Smith, who killed herself right after the shooting.
