The South Africa women's national cricket team represents South Africa in women's cricket . They have full membership in the International Cricket Council . They played their first Women's One Day International in 1997. The team have been an important group at the Women's Cricket World Cup and at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup since 1997.
South Africa made its Test cricket debut in the year 1960, against England , becoming the fourth team to play at International level (after Australia , England, and New Zealand ).[ 10]
