"Sayaum̐ Thungā Phulkā" (Nepali: सयौं थुँगा फूलका, pronounced [ˈsəjə̃ʊ̃ ˈt̪ʰʊ̃ŋɡa ˈpʰulka]; transl. "Made of Hundreds of Flowers") has been the national anthem of Nepal since August 2007.[1] when the country switched governments. Before that, it used to be "Rāṣṭriya Gān".[2] The lyrics (words) were written by Byākul Māilā and the music was composed by Amber Gurung.[3]
