Sanjō Ōhashi Bridge (三条大橋 ) is in Kyoto . The bridge connects two sides of the Kamo River in Kyoto Prefecture , Japan . The bridge is part of Sanjō-dōri (三条大通り Third Avenue ).
History
In the Edo period , the Sanjō Ōhashi Bridge Bridge was the end of Tōkaidō road which connected Edo and Kyoto .[ 1]
The current concrete bridge is made of concrete . It was built in 1950.
