The San Antonio Spurs are an American professional basketball team in the National Basketball Association (NBA) in San Antonio, Texas . They began playing in the NBA in 1976. They play their home game at the AT&T Center . They are currently coached by Gregg Popovich . They made six Finals appearances and won five NBA Championships in 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2014 respectively.
