Samuel Thomas Fender (born 25 April 1994), better known as Sam Fender, is an English singer, songwriter, and musician, born and raised in North Shields in Tyne and Wear, England. He has released three studio albums and one extended play. His single "Rein Me In", from the album People Watching, a duet with Olivia Dean, became Fender's first UK number one single in 2026 and became the longest running number one in UK chart history, with 21 non-consecutive weeks at number one.[1][2]
