SAS: Who Dares Wins is a reality television show in the United Kingdom where contestants are put through a military training course which includes aspects from the real-life United Kingdom Special Forces selection course. Until series 4, only male contestants were allowed until the Ministry of Defence announced that women were allowed to apply to be in the Special Forces.
The contestants are directed by a group of actual army and combat professionals who take them through harsh environments and training courses. There is no official elimination process, but contestants may withdraw or be removed from the process. In the end, the contestants who pass the course are the winners.
There have been eight seasons of the show. The eighth was the final season because the show wanted to focus on the celebrity version, which follows an identical format.
