Róisín Shortall (born 25 April 1954) is an Irish former Social Democrats politician. She was a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin North-West constituency from 1992 to 2024. She was the founding leader of the Social Democrats from 2015 to 2023. She also was the Minister of State for Primary Care from 2011 to 2012.[1]
In August 2022, she became the longest serving female TD in the history of the State.
