Ross Friedman (January 3, 1954 – March 26, 2026), also known as Ross the Boss, was an American guitarist. He was known as a founding member of both the punk band the Dictators and the heavy metal band Manowar.[1]
In February 2026, Friedman announced that he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).[2] He died of the disease a month later, on March 26, at the age of 72.[3][4]
