Rodney Procter Frelinghuysen [ 2] (born April 29, 1946) is an American politician. He was the U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 11th congressional district , serving from 1995 to 2019.
Frelinghuysen has served as Chair of the House Appropriations Committee since 2017. Frelinghuysen announced on January 29, 2018, that he would not seek re-election that year.[ 3]
