Ripon College is a private liberal arts college in Ripon, Wisconsin, United States. As of 2024, it has 754 undergraduate students. Most of the students are from Wisconsin.[1] The college was made in 1851. It was originally named Brockway College.[2]

History

The college opened in 1851, but no students went there until 1853. It was originally named Brockway College because a man named William S. Brockway gave 25 dollars to the college in 1851.[2] The first class of students, which was four women, graduated in 1867.[3] The college worked with with local Christian churches until 1868, and now it is not religious.

The National Forensic League was started at the college in 1925.
