The Rezvani Beast is a high-performance sports car produced by Rezvani Motors. It is known for being based on the Ariel Atom and the Lotus Elise. The car was first announced in June 2014.[1]
History
Rezvani Motors began developing the Beast in 2014, with production starting in 2015. The company is based in Santa Ana, California, where the cars are assembled. The design of the Beast was led by Azerbaijani designer Samir Sadikhov.[2][3][4] The original Beast was built with a 2.4-liter supercharged engine producing 300 hp, and later models offered up to 700 hp.
2024 Update
In 2024, Rezvani Motors launched a new version of the Beast based on the C8 Corvette platform. This model features a 6.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 1,000 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds.
Versions
Beast
The base model of the Beast is a convertible called the "Beast Speedster." It features a 2.4-liter supercharged engine, a 6-speed manual transmission, and weighs around 750 kg. The car's frame is made from chromoly tubing, and it uses forged aluminum wheels.
Beast Alpha
The Beast Alpha is a coupe version of the base model. It was first revealed at a Rezvani keynote in 2016. The Alpha has a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine producing 500 hp and a 6-speed manual transmission. It has unique "Sidewinder" doors, which slide open sideways and can be an optional feature.
Beast X
The Beast X is the most powerful version of the lineup, featuring a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 700 hp. It has a 6-speed manual transmission and weighs approximately 750 kg. The Beast X accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds.
Beast Alpha X
The Beast Alpha X is a coupe version of the Beast X. It has a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 525 hp. This version maintains the lightweight construction with carbon fiber body panels and has a 6-speed manual transmission.
Beast Alpha X Blackbird
Launched in 2018, the Beast Alpha X Blackbird is the most advanced version of the Beast Alpha. It has a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 700 hp and features the same carbon fiber body as the Alpha X. This model is equipped with standard comfort features such as power windows and air conditioning.
Beast (2024)
In 2024, Rezvani introduced a new generation of the Beast based on the C8 Corvette platform. It features a 6.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 1,000 hp, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. The car has a starting weight of 1,343 kg, with an optional armor package available.
