Rainham railway station is a railway station in Rainham in the London Borough of Havering , east London.
The railway station used to be in Essex but in 1965 the railway station and area was transferred to London Borough of Havering in London. It is sometimes called Rainham (Essex) to separate it from the station of the same name in Kent .[ 3]
It is in Travelcard zone 6 .
It was opened in 1854. The station and all trains serving it are currently operated by c2c .
