Poggle the Lesser
Poggle the Lesser was the Archduke of Geonosis and a prominent Separatist leader during the Clone Wars. A cunning and ambitious Geonosian, Poggle played a critical role in the formation of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the early stages of the Clone Wars, including overseeing the construction of key weapons for the Separatist cause. His epithet derives from his location within the Geonosian Caste system in which he is subservient to the apex of the caste: the hivemended Queen "Karina the Great". He served as her prefect of war as he served as the overseer for the Geonosian droid factories which churned out millions of B1 and 2's each day. Poggle the Lesser was killed, along with other high-ranking members of the CIS by Sith Lord Darth Vader after the conclusion of the Clone Wars.
