Perkin Warbeck (c. 1474 - 23 November 1499) was an impostor[1] and pretender[2] to the English throne during the reign of Henry VII of England.[3] He claimed to be Richard of Shrewsbury, one of the Princes in the Tower. He attempted to invade England but was captured after the Second Cornish Uprising (1497) and executed.[4]
