Night of Champions (2008)
Night of Champions was a professional wrestling pay-per-view show made by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).[ 2] It took place on June 29 , 2008 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas , Texas and featured talent from the Raw , SmackDown , and ECW brands . It was the second Night of Champions event held by WWE and the first without the Vengeance name.[ 3] As a tradition, every championship in WWE was defended at the event.

↑ This match was announced as a Tag Team match between reigning champions Holly and Rhodes and the team of DiBiase and a mystery partner. After DiBiase made his entrance, he said his partner was late and wanted to start the match as a two-on-one Handicap match. Rhodes then betrayed Holly and was revealed as DiBiase's partner. DiBiase pinned Holly to win the match.
↑ This match became a Special guest referee match . After Edge knocked out the official referee, Edge's manager Vickie Guerrero called out Chavo Guerrero , who then acted as the special guest referee.
