Neal McCaleb

Neal A. "Chief" McCaleb (June 30, 1935 – January 7, 2025) was an American civil engineer and Republican politician. He was a member of the Chickasaw Nation. He was the Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Indian Affairs under President George W. Bush from 2001 until 2003.

McCaleb was Oklahoma Secretary of Transportation from 1987 until 1991 and again from 1995 until 2001.[1] He was a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 1975 until 1983. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

McCaleb died on January 7, 2025 at the age of 89.[2]
