Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ( a-KUUF-oh-AH-doh; born William Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo;[1] 29 March 1944) is a Ghanaian politician. He was the President of Ghana from 2017 to 2025.[2] He served as Attorney General from 2001 to 2003 and as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2007.[3]
In 2020, Akufo-Addo was re-elected beating former President John Mahama.[4]
