Minaudière

A minaudière from 1938

A minaudière is a women's fashion accessory, thought to be a jewellery piece.^[1] It is meant as a replacement for an evening bag. It has some compartments that allows storage for several items in a small space, such as a makeup compact, lipstick, watch, reading glasses, or keys.^[1]
