Mel's Hole
Mel's hole is an infamous urban legend that happened in Washington about a mysterious "never ending" hole found in a mansion's backyard. People suggest that I was haunted and souls were kept down there.
First revealed in 1997 on Art Bell's Coast to Coast AM radio show by a caller named Mel Waters. Waters claimed the hole on his land near Ellensburg, Washington could swallow objects without a sound, revive dead animals (like a neighbor's dog), and emit beams of light, with stories even involving government cover-ups and mysterious creatures. Despite extensive searching, the hole has never been found, leading to its enduring status as a paranormal mystery.
