Maurice Blanchard Cohill Jr. (November 26, 1929 – January 1, 2022) was an American politician and lawyer. He was the United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania from 1976 until his death in 2022. Between 1985 and 1992, he was Chief Judge of that court. Cohill Jr. was nominated by President Gerald Ford.
Cohill Jr. was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He studied at Princeton University and at the University of Pittsburgh. Cohill Jr. died on January 1, 2022 in Pittsburgh from stroke-related problems, aged 92.[2]
