Mark James DeSaulnier (born March 31, 1952) is an American politician . He is a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives . He became the representative for California's 11th congressional district on January 3, 2015.
In 2015, DeSaulnier was diagnosed with leukemia .[ 1] In May 2016, it was announced the leukemia was incurable and that DeSaulnier would still run for re-election in 2016.[ 1]
