Mario Götze (born 3 June 1992 in Memmingen) is a German footballer. He plays as a midfielder for PSV Eindhoven and the Germany national football team. He was part of Germany's 2014 FIFA World Cup squad. He is considered one of Germany's best talents.[4] He scored the winning goal of the 2014 FIFA World Cup final against Argentina.
On 21 June 2022, Götze signed a three-year contract with Eintracht Frankfurt.
