Margaret Hutton was a Canadian swimmer who competed internationally in freestyle events in the 1930s. She was a member of Border City SC.[1]
At the 1934 British Empire Games in London, she won a gold medal with the Canadian team in the 4×100-yard relay competition and another gold medal in the 3×110 yard medley relay.[2]
She won the ASA women’s 440 yard freestyle in 1939.[3]
During the late 1940s and early 1950s she trained Kelowna swimmers in the summer period, while living in California, United States.[4]
In 1999 she was induced in the Ontario Aquatic Hall of Fame Inductees, as a swimming pioneer.[5]
