He was born in Talfita, Rif Dimashq, Syria. He studied law at Damascus University and graduated in 1993.[4]
He is the former president of the Youth Office at the National Coordination Committee for Democratic Change. In 2017 he spoke at the Genevapeace talks about Syria.[5]
He was a candidate in the 2021 Syrian presidential election[6] but his political party said that they had made him leave in 2013.[7]
