Mahieddine Khalef (17 January 1944 – 10 December 2024) was an Algerian football player and manager. He managed the Algeria national football team from 1979 to 1984. Before, he played for IZ Khemisset from 1961 to 1967. Khalef was born in Mechra Bel Ksiri, French protectorate in Morocco. His career began in 1960 and he retired in 2001.

Khalef died in Algiers, Algeria on 10 December 2024, at the age of 80.[1]
