Lujiazui (Chinese: 陆家嘴) is a neighborhood in Pudong New District, Shanghai. Located on the southeastern bank of the Huangpu River where the river bends, Lujiazui was built upon silt deposited by the Huangpu River. Lujiazui is now the financial center of Shanghai and a major financial center of the People's Republic of China. It is home to several of China's tallest buildings: Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Jin Mao Tower and Oriental Pearl Tower.
