Princess Louise of Orléans (Louise Marie Thérèse Charlotte Isabelle; 3 April 1812 - 11 October 1850) was the eldest daughter of King Louis Philippe I of the French and from August 1832 the second wife of Leopold I of Belgium, himself the first King of the Belgians. She was also the mother of the future King Leopold II of Belgium, who is known to history for his exploitation of the Belgian Congo. Her future husband was an uncle of the future Queen Victoria and her husband, Prince Albert. Louise's mother was also a niece of Marie Antoinette.

  2. Leopold II of the Belgians (9 April 1835 – 17 December 1909) married Marie Henriette of Austria and had children.
  3. Prince Prince Philippe, Count of Flanders (24 March 1837 – 17 November 1905) married Princess Marie of Hohenzollern and had children. .
  4. Princess Charlotte of Belgium, (7 June 1840 – 19 January 1927) married Maximilian I of Mexico, no children.
