This list of cities in Jordan shows the growth of the population in the largest cities in Jordan. The largest urban area in Jordan is Amman with a population of 1,942,066 (2004 census). About 40 percent of the country's population lives in the metropolitan area.
The table lists cities with more than 30,000 inhabitants,[1] the name in Latin letters and in Arabic. With three population statistics, one on December 10, 1994, one in October 2004, and the last in 2015, and the governorate is also listed.
