Limba Ram is an Indian archer. He was born on 30 January 1972. Ram competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics, 1992 Summer Olympics, and 1996 Summer Olympics. He grew up in a very poor family belonging to the Ahari Tribe. At a very young age he started hunting birds and animals using his bow and arrow made of bamboo. His talent was noticed by the Sports Authority of India in 1987 in a Archery Trial. He was sent Delhi by SAI for further training in archery under coaching of RS Sodhi. He was awarded with Arjuna Award in 1991 and Padma Shri in 2012.[1][2]
