Laikangbam is a Meetei Manipuri surname or family name which has Indian origin. People of this family mainly live in Manipur, India.[1][2][3][4]
They belong to the Luwang Clan of the Yek Salai of Manipur. They are one of the many original inhabitants of the ancient Manipuri Kingdom.
Most of the families reside in Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak , Uripok Huidrom Leikai , Langthabal and Naoremthong areas of Imphal West District of Manipur.[5]
