Johnny and the Sprites is a American musical children's television series that aired on Playhouse Disney block on Disney Channel. The series was produced by John Tartagila. He is most famous for his work on the musical comedy Avenue Q. The theme song was written by Stephen Schwartz. The series aired from 2005 to 2007. The series had been about two seasons. The series starts with a songwriter who was moving in a house given by his great uncle. Then he discovered little magic creatures the Sprites who welcome Johnny into to their world, and Johnny teaches the Sprites what is like to be human and teaching Ginger, Basil, Lily , and Root lessons through sing, dance and entertainment.
And the series had reruns on Disney Junior and CBeebies, and the series was removed in 2013.
