Jocelyn Birch Burdick (February 6, 1922 – December 26, 2019) was an American politician. She was the Senator of North Dakota from September 1992 through December 1992 for the Democratic Party.[1]
Burdick was born on February 6, 1922 in Fargo, North Dakota. She studied at Principia College and at Northwestern University. Burdick was married to Quentin N. Burdick from 1960 until his death in 1992.
After the death of Fritz Hollings in April 2019, Burdick became the oldest living former United States Senator. She died eight months later on December 26, 2019 in Fargo at the age of 97.[2]
