Jeanette Marie Nuñez (born June 6, 1972) is an American businesswoman and politician . Since 2019, she has been the 20th lieutenant governor of Florida under Governor Ron DeSantis . She is the first latina woman ever elected to this office. Nuñez is a member of the Republican Party .
Nuñez also served as a member and speaker pro tempore of the Florida House of Representatives .
