Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (also called Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs or simply known as Ice Age 3) is an American computer animated adventure comedy movie. It was released on July 1, 2009. It is the third movie in the Ice Age series and the first movie of the series released in 3D. The movie was produced by Blue Sky Studios. It was distributed by 20th Century Fox. The movie was also released on RealD anywhere available. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs was the first 20th Century animated movie and the first Blue Sky movie released in 3D.
In the movie, Manny, Diego, Ellie, Crash and Eddie travel in a underground dinosaurs's world. They set off a journey to save Sid who was taken by a female T-Rex for kidnapping her children. The group is helped by an eccentric one-eyed weasel named Buck.
The movie was positively welcomed from audience, cost $90 million to make and it earned $886,686,817 worldwide. In 2017, the movie was ranked as the 47th highest earnings amount worldwide.[4]
