The Hyundai Reina is a subcompact car made by Hyundai from 2017 to 2021.

History and Features

The Hyundai Reina was debuted in Chongqing Motor Show in 2017 its made through the Beijing Hyundai joint venture it shares its platform with the Hyundai Accent and it was positioned below the Hyundai Verna the name Reina in Spanish means queen the car has a 1.4 liter petrol engine with 4-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed automatic transmission.[3] [4] [1] [2]

Markets

The Hyundai Reina was sold mainly in China however it was exported to Philipines where it replaced the Hyundai Eon.[5] [6] in Peru Chile and Costa Rica it was sold as the Hyundai Verna.

Discontinuation

The Hyundai Reina was discontinued in 2021 due to weak sales and in Philipines it was replaced by the Hyundai Accent.
