Heinz Auerswald (July 26, 1908 – December 5, 1970) was a lawyer and member of the SS in Nazi Germany.

Auerswald joined the SS in 1933. He became "Kommissar für den jüdischen Wohnbezirk" ("Commissioner for the Jewish Residential District") in Warsaw, Poland from April 1941 to November 1942.

The West German government investigated him in the 1960s, but he was never charged with a crime. He died in 1970 at the age of 62.
