Hassan Diab
Hassan Diab (Arabic: حسان دياب; born 6 January 1959) is a Lebanese politician, engineer, and academic. He has been the Prime Minister of Lebanon since 21 January 2020.[1][2] He was the Minister of Education from 2011 to 2014, under President Michel Suleiman. On 10 August 2020, Diab announced his resignation along with his government due to the Lebanese government's failure to prevent the 2020 Beirut explosions.[3] He left office on 10 September 2021 when Najib Mikati was picked as his replacement.
