Hans (caste)

Hans is a Punjabi surname used by Arora caste in India. It originates from the Sanskrit hams, meaning swan or goose.[1] It is also a Jat clan.[2] The name can also be found amongst the Bhangi (Chuhra) and Mirasi castes.[3][4]
