Gurbir Singh Grewal (/ˈɡɜːrbɪər ˈɡreɪwɑːl/; born June 23, 1973)[1] is an American lawyer and politician. He has been the Director of the Division of Enforcement for the Securities and Exchange Commission since 2021. He was the Attorney General of New Jersey from January 2018 until July 2021.[2] Grewal was the county prosecutor of Bergen County, New Jersey from 2016 to 2018.[3]
