George Gascón (born March 12, 1954) is an American attorney and former police officer who served as the 43rd district attorney of Los Angeles County from 2020 to 2024.[1] Gascón was also the district attorney of San Francisco from 2011 to 2019.
In the 2024 election, he lost bid for reelection for Los Angeles County District Attorney by former federal prosecutor Nathan Hochman.[2]
