Garry Moore (Thomas Garrison Morfit III; January 31, 1915 – November 28, 1993) was an American entertainer, actor, game show host and comedian. He was best known for his work in television. Moore entered show business as a radio personality in the 1940s. He was a television host on several game and variety show programs during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
Moore was born on January 31, 1915 in Baltimore, Maryland.[1] He studied at Baltimore City College. Moore was married to Eleanor "Nell" Borum Little from 1939 until her death in 1974. Then he was married to Mary Elizabeth De Chant from 1975 until his death in 1993.
