The Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO /ˈɡk/) is an American auto insurance company. Its headquarters is in Chevy Chase, Maryland. It is the second largest auto insurer in the United States, after State Farm.[3]

GEICO’s current mascot is a gecko with an English accent voiced by Jake Wood. He was originally voiced by Kelsey Grammer. GEICO’s former mascots include a group of cavemen and a pig named Maxwell.
